Grading System
| 1. |
Basic
Course |
|
This
course is basically for attaining a healthy and strong body. The
students are required only to remember the techniques taught.
|
|
|
| 2. |
Disciples
of Advanced Course |
|
Must be
familiar with the Tai Ji 24 Movement pattern, and pass standard 1 to
3 of the Entire Body Resilience Course to be eligible for promotion
to Black Belt 1st Degree.
|
|
|
| 3. |
Black
Belt 1st Degree |
|
Must have
won in every combative contest with record of 30 marks, and Pass the
Entire Body Resilience Course (4 to 6), to be eligible for promotion
to Black Belt 2nd Degree.
|
|
|
| 4. |
Black
Belt 2nd Degree |
|
Must have
won in very combative contest with record of 100 marks, and Pass the
Entire Body Resilience Course (7 to 9), and Tai Ji Sword Pattern
(1), before being eligible for promotion to 3rd Degree.

|
|
| 5. |
Black
Belt 3rd Degree |
|
Must have
won in every combative contest with record of 180 marks, and Pass
the Entire Body Resilience Course (10 10 13), and the Tai Ji Sword
Pattern (2), before being eligible for promotion to 4th Degree Black
Belt.

|
| 6. |
For
each higher grade, there are specific requirements to be fulfilled. |
Types of Classes
Courses from 1st Degree Black
Belt onwards are grouped into two main types, namely the "Jin
Dan" class, and the "Full Course" class.
In the "Jin Dan"
class, the emphasis is on building up a healthy and strong body system,
with the aim of achieving a healthy long and sickness free life.
In the "Full
Course" class, all the five benefits and effects of Tai Ji Gong will
be covered.
